With Mesopotamia being the beginning of structure itself, it was bound to have changes over time. With achievements, it was also the same. Mesopotamia was the beginning of writing and many pieces of literature. They also created the system we know as time. They created many inventions that we have developed over time, making them more efficient and plausible. In Iraq today, they still practice the same things practiced in the earliest structure, Mesopotamia.

Mesopotamia With the development of the new settlement, they begun creating new systems of how to do things. The first sign of writing was developed, cuneiform. They used this language to write arguably the first literature piece, Gilgamesh. The Epic of Gilgamesh was found on tablets, ultimately cultivated from stories told by the Mesopotamian people. They also discovered the concept of 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour. This helped up to discover the times of day and we didn't develop these much. Once it was created, we stuck with it. This also brought forth the 360-degrees circle. Mesopotamian people also invented many technologies including metal and copper-working, glass and lamp making, textile weaving, flood control, water storage, and irrigation. They were also one of the first Bronze Age societies in the world, which led to new technologies and inventions.
